The Loft is well-known for its superb seafood offerings, particularly the fish and chips, which have garnered rave reviews from customers like Felix Zai, who declared it one of the best he's ever had. Picture flaky, tender fish enveloped in a light, crispy batter, perfectly fried to golden perfection. The meal is often accompanied by their homemade tartar sauce and a side of perfectly seasoned fries, which complements the fresh catch beautifully.

Another standout dish is the turkey dinner sandwich that Vanessa enthusiastically recommends. It captures the essence of home-cooked comfort with its generous portions and rich flavors, paired wonderfully with their hearty chicken noodle soup that warms the soul. For those looking for lighter options, The Loft's Caesar salad and assorted appetizers like mozza sticks and onion rings deliver a crunchy and satisfying start to your meal.

Lovely deep fried fish ... friendly service... interesting building / location ...gravy was a bit dark / thick ... but overall ... wonderful

The Missus and I along with Little Bro plus Nephew were a bit famish after visiting Cape St. Mary’s Ecological Reserve. The Loft Restaurant was on the second floor of a simple looking building. But appearance can be deceiving as we had an enjoyable afternoon lunch. Service by our server was acceptable and we ordered onion rings for an appetizer, clubhouse, cod burger and fish & chips. We left our plates cleaned and highly recommend for just good food. Plus we picked up some sweet treats on the first floor convenience store for the drive back to St. John's.

Amazing home cooked food and great prices! We had the turkey dinner sandwich and chicken noodle soup. The turkey dinner sandwich is a must get! Fish burger and ceasar were also good.

Friendly staff. Clean environment. The fish is so fresh that the meat is soft, flaky and juicy. The batter is light, fried in fresh oil. The scallops are seasoned with the right amount of citrus and lightly grilled, the meat itself is tender and sweet. They make their own blueberry yum yum this light and fluffy desert is not too sweet just perfect to pair with their amazing coffee. Honestly, I highly recommend this place even though you’ve had many fish and chips in your life. It’s an affordable place to eat in town of Branch.

One of the best fish and chips I’ve ever had. Beautiful location and friendly staff.
